FAQ

Is my data sent to a server?
No. All processing is done in your browser and text data is never sent to any server. You can safely compare confidential documents.
Can I ignore full-width and half-width differences?
Yes. Enable the "Ignore full-width/half-width" option to treat characters like "ＡＢＣ" and "ABC" as identical.
Can it detect hiragana/katakana differences?
Yes. By default, hiragana and katakana are treated as different characters. Enable the "Ignore hiragana/katakana" option to treat them as the same.
What is the maximum number of lines?
Up to 50,000 lines are supported. Processing may take longer for texts exceeding 10,000 lines.
Can I load files directly?
Yes. Drag & drop files directly onto the text area or use the file selection button. UTF-8, Shift_JIS, and EUC-JP encodings are supported.
