Will adding a logo make the QR code unreadable?
QR codes have error correction capability, allowing them to be read even when partially covered. Adjust the logo size appropriately and set error correction level to Q or higher for reliable scanning.
Can I use the created QR code commercially?
Yes, commercial use is allowed. QR code patents are freely available. However, "QR Code" is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.
Is my data saved on a server?
No. All processing is done in your browser. Input data and uploaded images are never sent to any server.
When should I use SVG or Hi-Res PNG?
SVG is a vector format that stays sharp at any size, ideal for editing in design software or for large-format printing. The Hi-Res PNG exports at 4x the selected size (up to 4000px), perfect for posters or signage. For web use and standard printing, the regular PNG is sufficient.
Can I create a QR code that sends an SMS?
Yes. Choose the "SMS" type, then enter the destination phone number and message. Scanning the code opens the SMS app with the recipient and message body pre-filled, which is handy for campaign entries or survey invitations.
