FAQ

Is the Flexbox Generator free to use?
Yes, it is completely free. No registration required. Just open it in your browser and start using it.
Can I copy and use the generated CSS directly?
Yes. Use the copy button to copy the CSS to your clipboard and paste it into your stylesheet. The output is the CSS you apply to the container element.
What is the difference between justify-content and align-items?
justify-content aligns items along the main axis (the direction set by flex-direction), while align-items aligns them along the cross axis (perpendicular to the main axis). With flex-direction: row the main axis is horizontal; with column it is vertical.
Is the gap property supported in all browsers?
The flexbox gap property is fully supported in all modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) as of 2026. For very old environments, consider using margins instead.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. Layout generation and CSS output are all handled locally in your browser with JavaScript. No data is sent to any external server, so you can use it with peace of mind.
