Is the grouping truly fair?
Yes. It shuffles names using cryptographically secure randomness from the Web Crypto API together with the Fisher-Yates algorithm, so there is no bias toward any particular grouping.
Are the names I enter saved?
No. The names you enter are never sent to or stored on any server. All processing happens locally in your browser, keeping personal data private.
What happens when people do not divide evenly?
When "Balance group sizes" is enabled, the remainder is distributed one person at a time across groups, keeping the size difference between groups to at most one person.
Can I split by people per group instead?
Yes. Choose "People per group" to create groups of the size you specify. The last group holds the remainder, or you can balance everyone evenly with the balance option.

Can I get a different combination with the same members?
Yes. Press "Shuffle Again" to re-split the same name list and settings into a fresh random combination.
