FAQ

Is the ASCII art generator free to use?
Yes, it is completely free. No registration or installation required - just open it in your browser and start using it.
Can it convert Japanese or other non-Latin characters?
This tool renders uppercase Latin letters, digits and symbols using built-in fonts. Lowercase letters are automatically converted to uppercase, and unsupported characters are treated as spaces. Full-width characters such as Japanese are not supported for banner rendering.
Is my input sent anywhere?
No. The font data is built into the tool and all conversion happens locally in your browser. Your text is never sent to or stored on any server.
What fonts and styles are available?
You can choose block (█), hash (#), star (*), at (@), dot (·), outline and shadow styles, and freely combine fill character, letter spacing, alignment and border options.
Can I copy and use the ASCII art directly?
Yes. You can copy it to the clipboard with the copy button, or download it as a text (.txt) file. Paste it where a monospaced font is used and the layout will stay intact.
