FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. From loading the PDF to converting it into images, every step happens locally in your browser. Your file is never sent to or stored on any server, so even confidential documents are safe.
Should I choose PNG or JPG?
PNG is best for documents with lots of text or diagrams and when you need a transparent background, since it does not lose quality. JPG is better for photo-heavy pages and smaller file sizes, and you can adjust its quality (compression).
Can I get higher quality images?
Yes. Set the resolution to 2x or 3x for sharper output. For printing we recommend 2x or higher. Note that higher resolution increases both processing time and file size.
Can I save multiple pages at once?
Yes. Use "Select all" or the checkbox on each page to choose what to save, then press "Convert selected pages". The chosen pages are downloaded one by one, with page numbers added to the file names automatically.
Can I convert password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted (password-protected) PDFs may not load. Please remove the password before loading such files.
