FAQ

Is my text sent to a server?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser via JavaScript. Your text is never uploaded or stored on any server.
Can it sort non-English text?
Yes. It uses the browser's locale-aware comparison (Intl.Collator), so Japanese sorts in kana order and English alphabetically. Numbered lines sort naturally (1, 2, 10).
Can I dedupe ignoring case?
Yes. Enable "Ignore case" to treat Apple and apple as the same when removing duplicates and sorting.
Can I combine multiple options?
Yes. Operations run in this order: trim → remove empty lines → remove duplicates → sort → add line numbers, so you can freely combine them.
Is there a limit on the number of lines?
There is no hard limit. Since processing runs in your browser it depends on your device, but tens of thousands of lines work smoothly on typical PCs and phones.
