About Unit Price Comparison

Ever wondered which product is the better deal at the store? This tool automatically calculates the price per content unit (g, ml, pieces) for multiple products and instantly highlights the best value. Enter a pack count to see the effective unit price for bulk buys, or a discount to compare the effective price after markdowns.

FAQ

What is pack count?
For multi-item packages like 12-roll toilet paper or 5-box tissue sets, enter the number of items in the pack. For single items, leave it as 1.
How do I enter discounts?
Select "% OFF" or "Yen off" and enter the discount amount. For 30% off, enter "30". For ¥100 off, enter "100".
How many products can I compare?
Click "Add Product" to add as many products as you need. Great for comparing multiple options at the store.
How is the price per content unit (g, ml, pieces) calculated?
Set "Display" to "per 100" for price per 100g/100ml, or "per 1" for price per 1g/1ml/piece. It is calculated as price divided by (quantity x pack), so you can fairly compare products with different sizes. The cheapest product is badged automatically.
Can it compare the effective unit price of bulk buys and discounted prices?
Yes. Enter a pack count to get the effective unit price based on the total quantity in the set. Add a discount (% OFF or yen off) and the unit price is calculated from the resulting effective price. Each product card shows its effective price, and a summary of the best value appears at the top.
