FAQ

Is this tool free to use?
Yes, it is completely free. No registration or installation is required — just open it in your browser and start using it.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. All conversion happens locally in your browser via JavaScript, so your input is never sent anywhere. You can use it with peace of mind.
What is the difference between camelCase and snake_case?
camelCase joins words by capitalizing each word and keeping the first letter lowercase, e.g. "userName". snake_case joins words with underscores in all lowercase, e.g. "user_name". JavaScript commonly uses camelCase, while Python and database columns often use snake_case.
Can I convert multiple words or lines at once?
Yes. Enter multiple lines and each line is converted individually. Within a line, spaces, underscores, hyphens and uppercase boundaries are detected as word separators and reassembled into the chosen format.
Does it work with non-English characters or symbols?
It is optimized for alphanumeric text. Non-English characters and some symbols are preserved, but only the English-word parts are reformatted as naming conventions. For program identifiers, alphanumeric input is recommended.
When should I use CONSTANT_CASE and Title Case?
CONSTANT_CASE (e.g. MAX_COUNT) is used for constants and environment variables, while Title Case (e.g. Max Count) is used for human-readable text such as headings and button labels.
What is Sentence case?
Sentence case lowercases the entire text and then capitalizes only the first letter of each sentence (e.g. "Hello world. This is a test."). Periods, exclamation marks and question marks are treated as sentence boundaries, which makes it handy for formatting English body text and descriptions.
When would I use tOGGLE cASE?
Toggle case inverts the case of every letter (e.g. "Hello" becomes "hELLO"). It is useful for fixing text that was typed with Caps Lock left on by mistake, or for creating decorative text effects.
