About Text Encoding Converter
Text Encoding Converter is a web tool that explicitly converts the character encoding of text and files between Shift_JIS, EUC-JP, ISO-2022-JP, UTF-8 and UTF-16. Unlike a mojibake (garbled text) fixer that guesses how to repair broken strings, this tool is built for clear conversion goals such as "save this file as UTF-8" or "convert a Shift_JIS CSV to UTF-8". All processing happens entirely in your browser, and your text and files are never sent to any server.
